Medollic photo shoot
I had a great shoot last week with Brisbane band Medollic.
These were all taken at the Powerhouse in New Farm, Brisbane. See the entire set on Flickr.
Strobist info on the Flickr page. Mainly I had an SB-800 with 1/2 CTO in a 28" Westcott Apollo softbox, an SB-900 with 1/2 CTO in a white shoot through for fill, and one or two background / kicker lights.
Kylie dancing
This is my lovely Kylie. She’s dancing before a wedding we went to on the weekend where she was a bridesmaid.
Strobist: behind Kylie is a large window covered in curtain lace. Overexposed the background.
SB-900 with half CTO high camera right in shoot through umbrellam, 0ev.
SB-600 with half CTO back camera left in shoot through umbrella, -1ev.
Triggered with CLS.
Shot at 1/30 sec to get the dancing motion blur.
Post: clipped whites and cloned out some gaps in the white curtain background.

At the park
Photos taken at a local park last night. Did not turn out quite as green and dreamy as expected - the park of reality is almost nothing like the one I remember.
